Keep an eye on crypto right from your home screen!
As you all know, EtherDrops is a native product of the DropsTab team. The ultimate aim of the both is to provide sophisticated tracking and monitoring tools for the crypto community. Well today the DropsTab App has seen a new feature- widgets. Let`s take a closer look and see how the EtherDrops community could benefit from it!
What is a widget?
A widget is an element of a graphical user interface that provides info & updates on a user`s device. In our case it could be coins, portfolios, watchlists.
There are several distinctive advantages:
- Users can change and modify widgets however they want.
- The speed of information is incredible. All you need is to take a look at your home screen for an update.
DropsTab Widgets
Currently there are 5 widgets. Each if different and provides updates on different events:
- Portfolio summary;
- Portfolio and Top Gainer/Loser;
- Portfolio and Customised Assets;
- Market Widget (for 3 coins from our portfolio/watchlist);
- Market Widget (for 6 coins from our portfolio/watchlist).
How to add a DropsTab Widget?

To begin with, you need to install a DropsTab App.
Next, tap and hold in some empty space on the main screen until you`ll see a “+” sign top left corner on IOS, or a “Widget” button at the bottom of your screen on Android. Select either of them.
Next, search for “DropsTab”. You will then see a selection of 5 widgets to add to your home screen. Go ahead and select one.
How to edit a widget?
If you need to make further adjustments to your widget, tap on that widget and hold until you`ll see an “Edit widget” button. Proceed with it and apply your edits. You can change the list of coins to follow, timeframes, portfolios and much more. Please refer to this Tweet:
